Pushed Off One Week

What Happened Today

Today Andrew went it for what we thought was the beginning of another big week. Unfortunately after having his labs this morning it was determined that his levels have not risen enough and we need to wait a week before continuing treatment.

What This Means

The Good

• Andrew will have another week without nausea.
• Andrew will probably be able to go into the office for a couple days, depending on appointment schedules.

The Bad

• Treatment will take at least an extra week to complete. This is a pretty big blow and will mess with care and work schedules.
• Andrew needs to schedule and have a pulmonary test this week.
• Due to the upcoming holiday the next full week will only be four treatments and may impact the effectiveness of the overall treatment.
• Andrew may not be able to attend the closing on the house.

The New Schedule

The new schedule for our on and off weeks will be as follows:

• September 3-6 – New Big Week #2 Dates
• September 9 – Monday Check-in and BLEO
• September 16 – Monday Check-in and BlEO
• September 23-27 – New Big Week #3 Dates

Prayer Requests

• We seek continued prayers for Andrew’s levels to rise.
• We hope that Andrew’s pulmonary test this week won’t turn up any problems that would further complicate treatment.
• Prayers for patience as we wait for the next steps in treatment.
