Week #3
This past week has truly been a blessing. We really got to spend some quality time together before another Big Week of chemo, mostly nausea-free! Below are a few photos of our adventures:

Concerns
We discovered Andrew’s white blood cell levels and A&C counts were quite low, so he’s been wearing a face mask in public to avoid getting sick. The message was mixed on probabilities of his counts rising, but we’re hopeful to see higher numbers tomorrow. If the numbers are not higher, the doctor may end up pushing everything back one week. We’d really like for that not to happen!
Preparing for Big Week #2
Is there really a way for us to be prepared for chemotherapy? In a sense, yes. Andrew’s bags are packed, the apartment is clean, his cozy pants are washed and ready, and we met with the nurse to create a plan for combating nausea better this time around. AND, we have you all!
As we head into next week, here’s what’s at the forefront of our minds:
- We’re hoping counts will rise! This is really essential to keep everything on track. We would love to be done and cancer free 4 weeks from now.
- We’re hoping nausea would be kept to a minimum with the new, stronger approach
- Andrew’s port was installed in his chest two weeks back and he’s looking forward to no more arm pokes!
Prayers for a successful week.

Hannah and Andrew, praying for a good week. Praying that his numbers are up and that he can hand the nausea better this time around. Praying for you too, Hannah, being the caretaker of Andrew. Remember, our God, the greatest physician, have you both in His hands, and you have LOTS of people praying for you both!
